Dear valued patients,
We are happy to inform you that we are now geared to provide you with a safe and worry-free dermatology experience despite the Coronavirus situation. Another step we have taken in this regard is to have all our staff members vaccinated for COVID-19. Vaccination is one of the main steps we can take to contain the spread of the virus, thereby ensuring the health and safety of our patients and staff.

Both our offices are now fully opened for business and are equipped with WiFi. We have made these additions to make your experience at our office more pleasant, comfortable, and convenient. Please note we are still shipping skincare products and order requests can be made via keren@ctr4dermatology.com

  • Improve texture and uneven complexion
  • Eliminate sunspots
  • Smooth fine lines
  • Eradicate wrinkles

The FDA has approved Fraxel® for use on the skin of all types. You can achieve immediate results after one appointment, but Dr. Burgess recommends several visits spaced out to get the best results. This method allows for gradual improvement over time, achieving a more natural effect.

If Fraxel® is right for you, your appointment will begin with applying a topical anesthetic, which will numb the skin and keep you comfortable throughout the procedure. Appointments are short and involve focused laser heat to target problem areas, preserving healthy tissue. You may notice some redness after your appointment, but this will go away shortly. This treatment is mild enough that patients will be able to apply make-up, shave, and return to work right after treatment, with zero downtime. Dr. Burgess recommends the use of sunscreen after treatment to protect sensitive cells. As new skin develops following the procedure, you may see bronzing or flaking. It is a sign that the skin is repairing itself.

If you’re interested in learning more about this procedure, Dr. Burgess will gladly answer any questions you have. She can provide information before and after, making sure you are informed about the treatment process and know how to help guarantee you’ll get the best possible results.

If you’re interested in learning more about Fraxel® and how it can help you, make an appointment with Dr. Burgess today. To request an appointment, call the Center for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery (202) 955 - 5757.
