It has been a while and I wanted to touch base as you have been with me on my hair journey over the past several years. The oral minoxidil has been a true miracle for me. I’m seeing loads of new growth and very little loss. Additionally, I’m feeling so much better now that my thyroid has been regulated. Thank you for not giving up or dismissing me.

I was shedding a massive amount of hair for about 6 months. I visited my internist who referred me to a dermatologist in my health care plan. It took three months for me to get an appointment, meanwhile my hair loss continued. At my appointment, the doctor spent 5 minutes with me after waiting months to be seen! I was recommended to Dr. Burgess by a colleague at work. Not only could I get an appointment within two weeks of calling, she spent more than 30 minutes with me, did blood work and found out that my thyroid was the cause. I was so happy to find out the reason for my hair loss and was treated for my thyroid problem. Now my hair is healthy again and the shedding stopped. Thank you Dr. Burgess and Staff from preventing me from going bald.

I called The Center for Dermatology to schedule an appointment with Dr. Burgess. I was given an appointment the very next day! At first I thought maybe she is new to dermatology since I didn’t have to wait for 3 months for an appointment. I Googled her and found out that she was very experienced. Once at my appointment I told the staff that I almost cancelled my appointment because I thought she was inexperienced and questioned to why I can get an appointment right away at the Center for Dermatology when there is a 3 months wait list elsewhere. I was told they confirm scheduled appointments to see if anyone would not be able to keep their appointment in order to free up time for another patient-Makes sense to me!

My acne was out of controlled. I kept being prescribed the same medications from dermatologist to dermatologist. At Dr. Burgess’ office, they asked me to bring all my medications and skin care products. Finally, I was prescribed a new skin care regimen and prescriptions that worked for me.

I had a very painful ingrown toenail on my big toe. I called The Center for Dermatology and I was able to get an appointment the same day. They listened to my concern needing to be seen immediately and I was given one of their emergency appointments.

I started going to Dr. Burgess several years ago. She has helped me with numerous skin issues. She has had many solutions to my concerns. I listen because she looks fabulous and has gorgeous skin!

Dr. Burgess has designed skin care lines and is an expert on ingredients. She taught me what to look for in skin care products since I have a lot of allergies and sensitive skin.

I thought I had lost my hair permanently. The treatments Dr. Burgess prescribed for me really worked! Amazing products.

1. I had such a great experience here, that I wanted to share. I was extremely itchy and miserable (turns out it’s poison ivy) and called in this morning-I got an appointment for an hour later! The office is really beautiful and calming, like a spa, and everyone was so professional. Dr. Burgess is really great and obviously knows her stuff. Just a great experience-if I have any future issues or have a friend who does, I know where I’ll be going/who I’ll be recommending. They don’t take insurance but to me that level of care is worth it.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with my visit. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don’t forget. They are extremely reliable. My first visit to Dr. Burgess office Being a physician myself I needed to be seen for an Annual Cancer screening but I needed to be seen during my lunch hour. The Office staff was polite, her MA’s were quick and well educated, and Dr. C. So far I am a fan of Dr. Burgess. I have seen a couple dermatologists for ingrown hairs on my legs, but Dr. Burgess has treated me most effectively. I`m also receiving laser hair removal treatments
