Meet the Doctors

Dermatology Washington - Open Quote Icon I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Burgess this morning. After suffering a bout of major red, itchy rash all over face and neck, I was referred by Dr. Burgess by the GW Student Health Center. Even though I was not an existing patient, her office gave me an 8:30a time slot for the next morning when I said it was urgent.

When I arrived, I got there about 10 minutes early to leave time for paperwork, etc. The office is clean, very modern, excellent reading material. Her receptionist did not bat an eye at my rash when he handed me the new patient forms, and I was seen promptly at 8:30.

The PA was friendly, warm, and attentive, and I saw Dr. Burgess after a brief history with the PA. Dr. Burgess was great -- very sweet, reassuring, and direct with her recommendations. They gave me samples of some sensitive-skin sunblock to use, and there is a CVS right across the street where I could get scripts filled.
